Hello and welcome back, Beauties! I hope you’re all doing well. I feel like it’s been a hot minute since I’ve had anything new to try out for you guys, so I’m super excited to bring you this post today. If you’re interested in seeing what new things I’m trying out this week, just keep on reading.
Since I’ve been on this lowbuy this year, I haven’t really been trying out too many new things. Well, I picked up a couple of products over the weekend and am looking forward to sharing them with you. There’s a few drugstore products and a few high end ones that I’ve been dying to try.
Now that we’ve gotten that stuff out of the way, let’s get into the new products!
I’ve been seeing so many rave reviews about this product, so since I was in the mall over the weekend, I stopped in Sephora and picked up the Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF 15, $46.00. I got the shade Almond 7, and it’s a tad too dark for me right now, but I can make it work. I definitely want to pick up Almond 6.75 during the sale since they didn’t have it in store. I definitely prefer a more medium coverage as it gets warmer, and since Spring has finally decided to come to where I live, I’m hoping this foundation works for me.
Since the Milani highlighter I got a while back impressed me so much, I knew that I wanted to try the Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette, $13, once I saw it on their website. This palette comes in Rose Glow, which is the one I have and is shown above, and a more colorful one called Holographic Beams.
Finally, I have some Fenty Beauty in my collection! I picked up the Bomb Baby Mini Lip and Face Set, $23.00, and I’m excited to give these a go, especially the Fenty Glow Gloss Bomb. I love me a glossy lip, especially as it gets warmer outside. No one has time for dry liquid lipstick lips in the summertime. Well, I don’t anyway, so I can’t wait to use the Gloss Bomb. The mini highlight is in the shade Hu$tla Baby, which may be a little light for me, but we’ll see how it goes.
The last product I’m testing out this week is the CoverGirl TruBlend Pressed Powder in Sable, $9.99. I haven’t tried a CoverGirl complexion product in years, but I figure powder is a good place to start. They’ve repackaged all of their products over the past few months, just as a side note. Let me know in the comments if you’ve used this before and if you love or hate it. It only comes in 6 translucent shades, which is pretty standard, unfortunately.
Alrighty then, my loves, those are all of the products I’m trying out this week. Let me know in the comments which item you’d like to see reviews on.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
