Hey there, Beauties, and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I am trying out a couple of things this week, and I wanted to share them with you. If you’re interested in seeing what I’ll be diving into this week, just keep on reading.
I haven’t done an ‘In the Lab’ post in about a week or so. I have been testing out a few things, but not enough for a full post, so I’ll be combining all of the things I started testing last week, as well as a couple of things I’m adding in this week.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s get into the products I’ll be trying out this week!
I got my March Boxycharm the other day, and was super excited that the palette looked as pretty in person as it did in the photos. This is the Pur x Boxycharm Eyeshadow Palette, $36. The palette is available on the Pur website, so you can still get your hands on it if you aren’t subscribed to Boxycharm. The shadows are all really soft to the touch, which is promising.
Side Note: I’m still working with the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Bar palette, don’t you fret.
Another palette I want a little more time with before I bring you a review on it is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette, $42. I started using it last week, but want to do a few more looks with it before I give you guys my full thoughts on it. So far, I’m kind of into it.
The Butter London Double Decker Mascara, $20, was also included in this month’s Boxycharm, so I figured I’d give it a go this week. I haven’t tried many products from Butter London, so I’m glad I got this in my subscription box.
While I think that there is a purpose for certain types of high end skincare, like serums, but I refuse to spend a ton of money on facial cleanser. So, when I saw that Simple just came out with a new micellar gel cleanser, I figured I’d try it. The Simple Water Boost Micellar Gel Face Wash, $7.99, is pretty good. I’ve been using it for a few days now, so I don’t have concrete opinions yet, other than it is definitely better as a second cleanse if you’re removing makeup. It definitely isn’t gonna get all that off your face. It works great as a cleanser after I use my makeup remover balms or on days when I’m not wearing makeup at all.
Alrighty then, y’all! Those are the products I will be testing out this week. Let me know in the comments which product you’re excited to see a review about.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
