Hello and Happy Friday, Beauties!! I hope you’re all doing well. As another week comes to a close, it’s time to take a look at my standout products for the week, as well as what makeup looks I created. So, if you’re interested in seeing how my makeup week was, just keep on reading.
Okay so, as you guys know, I didn’t really have too many products up for testing this week. Here’s the post I did Monday outlining what I was planning to use this week. I’m finding that I am much more focused on what I want to try out if there are only three or four items instead of ten. I didn’t try a new foundation or concealer this week, because my bareMinerals combo, the barePro Foundation and bareSkin Coverage Concealer, have been giving me life lately.
Let’s switch it up and do the looks from this week first today, and then we;ll get into what products I loved.
This week I was really into a nude lip for whatever reason. As you can see, I only wore dark lipstick one day this week. I stuck to nudes the rest of the week. Today (Friday), I’m not even wearing any foundation. I know, shocking. I only have on concealer and powder as a base, and I’m into it.
Wednesday’s look was probably my favorite this week. There was just something about this soft look that spoke to me. I don’t typically do looks this soft, but the light pink sweater I had on inspired me. Plus, it was Valentines Day, so I didn’t want to do anything overly aggressive or dark. I definitely plan to do more soft looks like this in the future.
Moving right along, let’s talk about what products really stood out to me this week.
I blacked out some single shadows in my magnetic palette because those aren’t what I used or wanna talk about this week. The single shadows from Pinky Rose Cosmetics, however, I DEFINITELY can’t stop talking about. I did a review on them yesterday that you can read HERE if you want more in-depth info on them.
In other eyeshadow news, I really enjoyed the Milani eyeshadow palettes I’ve been testing, but I must say I used the Most Loved Mattes more than the Bold Obsessions. I’ll have my full review up soon on both of these, but I’ll tell you now that, so far, the all matte palette is speaking to my soul.
Lastly, I have to give it up to NYX. I was skeptical about their new Worth the Hype mascara because I haven’t really enjoyed a NYX mascara before. I’m so glad I decided to check this one out because it’s pretty dope. This is another product I’ll be reviewing in full for you guys next week, so stay tuned for that.
That wraps up this Week in Review. Let me know in the comments below what products you were loving this week.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
