My Current Makeup Wishlist: February 2018

Hello and welcome back, Beauties!! I hope your Wednesday is off to a fantastic start. Today, we’re going to talk about what new makeup releases are currently on my wishlist. If you wanna know what products are making me reconsider this lowbuy situation, then just keep on reading!

So much stuff has been released recently that this lowbuy has been a tad bit of a challenge. I live about a block away from an Ulta store, guys, and I haven’t been in once. That’s growth, folks. However, I do find myself looking at their website regularly. I haven’t purchased yet though, so I’m pushing through.

With all that said, there are a couple of things that have either just been released or are coming soon that I really want to pick up. All images you’ll see today are from Trendmood on Instagram (@trendmood1).

Enough rambling, let’s get into it!

CoverFX is releasing their new Power Play Foundation tomorrow, February 15th on their website (it will release at Sephora sometime in March). It will come in 40 shades and different undertones. It will cost $44, and claims to deliver color-true, all-day wear with powerful shine control and environmental protection with a modern-matte finish. I have been really into foundation as of late, and this one is speaking to me for sure.

I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Urban Decay shadows, but the last couple of palettes I’ve tried from them have been impressing me. Soon they will be releasing the BackTalk palette, $46. It is designed like the Shapeshifter face palette they released last year that I actually enjoyed. This palette, shown above, will have one side containing four face powders (blush and highlighters) and the other side will have eight eyeshadows. I’m going to have to see some reviews once the PR packages go out before I get too excited, but as it stands now, I think I want it.

The last two items are both from Anastasia Beverly Hills and they come out TODAY, February 14th, on their website (it will be available at Ulta and Sephora March 6th). On the left you’ll see the Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette, $42. This palette will contain a mixture of new shades and repromoted shades. I don’t get why brands are doing that lately, but I digress. I don’t have anything like this in my collection, so it’s definitely looking good to me.

The other product they are releasing today on their website and March 6th in stores is a new bronzer. The matte powder bronzer, $28, will come in six shades. The deepest shade looks like it may work for my skintone, so that’s what’s pulling me into this product. $28 is kind of steep for a single bronzer, but if it’s going to work for me, I might have to do it.

Those are the products that are currently on my wishlist. When we go over my March wishlist, I plan to go over my wishlists from the first three months of the year and say what I bought and what I skipped on.

Let me know in the comments below what products are currently on your wishlist.

Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
