Hello and welcome back, Beauties!! Today, I’m going to go over some of the new and upcoming beauty releases and decide if I plan to buy them or skip them entirely.
As always with my new and upcoming release post, I’ll be using some of my favorite Instagram pages like Trendmood to share the deets with you guys.
Enough talking. Let’s get into it!
Juvia’s Place is coming out with a new eyeshadow palette called The Festival Palette. It launches February 15th on their website. There are two liquid lipsticks coming out as part of The Festival Collection, but I’m definitely more interested in the palette. I have yet to try Juvia’s Place shadows, so I’m definitely interested in this one. This may be a purchase for me.
Makeup Revolution has just released a range of concealers. There are 18 shades in the range, and will run you $7 at Ulta or online at Tam Beauty’s website. I’m definitely planning to purchase one of these.
In other Makeup Revolution news, they are also releasing a stick foundation in February. There will be 18 shades in the initial launch and will run you $9. Now, although there aren’t 30 shades in this yet, the gradient of the shades is pretty great in comparison to others. Like, I can already see my shade in this image, as well as a shade for a lot of my friends, so I just may purchase this one.
You guys know that I am a HUGE fan of Becca as a brand. I talk about them in just about every post I write. Well, they’re releasing the Ocean Jewels Eye Palette soon and this will be a Sephora exclusive. It looks like the 7-pan palette will have a combination of mattes, metallics and toppers. I love the packaging of this, as it is similar to the Apres Ski eyeshadow palette they came out with over the holidays, but the shadows aren’t moving me. I’m gonna have to pass on this one, although it really is pretty to look at.
As per usual, Colourpop is pumping out the products. Their Give It To Me Straight eyeshadow palette and In Nude-Endo highlighter palette come out tomorrow, January 25th. Then, a week later on the 31st, they’re launching their Lux Lipsticks, a range of 24 lippies with a semi-matte finish. Now, y’all know I’m definitely gonna purchase one of the lipsticks. I mean, look at them. They’re gorgeous!! I’m gonna pass on the eyeshadow and highlighter palettes though. Neither really speak to me.
The MAC x Jeremy Scott collection definitely speaks to the music lover in me. As someone that was a teenager in the 90’s, boomboxes, cassette tapes and CDs were the staples of my childhood. The Lo-Fi Boombox eyeshadow palette will run you $75, the Future Emotion Cassette Tape lip palette is $35, and the Acoustica CD cheek palette will be $35 as well. As nostalgic as this collection makes me, I’m gonna have to pass on it. The cheek palette is going to be too light for me, I’m not into lip palettes and I don’t have the room to store that gorgeous boombox palette, which was all I was really interested in from jump.
Let me know in the comments below if you plan on picking any of these things up.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
