Hello there, Beauties!! A new week has begun, so you know what that means. It’s time to start a new round of product testing.
When I first saw that Too Faced was releasing this palette, I wasn’t going to buy it. Y’all know that Too Faced and I have an off again, on again kind of relationship. Well, after seeing so many rave reviews from people I trust, I finally broke down and picked up the Chocolate Gold Metallic/Matte Palette. I’ve used it a total of three times now, including today, so I should have my review up at the end of the week.
I picked up the Burt’s Bees Goodness Glows Liquid Foundation in my recent Walmart haul. I wear Chestnut, which is the darkest shade in the range of 12 foundations. So, needless to say, the shade range isn’t the best. I’ve worn this once mixed with my Lancome Teint Idole, so I need to try it out on its own before I formulate an opinion on it.
Another foundation I’ll be checking out this week is the Covergirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Foundation. I wear the shade Spicy Brown for reference. I’ve only used this one once, so I should have the review up next week so I can give it a few more wears.
I’ve been on a Covergirl kick recently, I guess, because I will be testing their new Melting Pout Matte lipsticks this week as well. I enjoy the original Melting Pout lippies that came out last year, so I’m hoping these are just as good.
I’m not typically a liquid eyeshadow kind of girl, but when I saw these, I had to pick them up and give them a go. These are the Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows, not to be confused with the glittery version. I picked up the shades Pigalle (shimmering cranberry) and Kitten (shimmering nude pink). Since I work in an office, I’m still trying to figure out how I can wear these in a way that is work-appropriate. I’ll keep you posted lol.
Let me know in the comments below what new products you’ve added to your collection recently.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
