Product Spotlight: Standout Products of the Week (1/2-1/5)

Hello there, Beauties!! I test out so many products that I really enjoy doing these weekly check-ins about the products that stood out as awesome before I do a full review on them.

2018 has started out in an amazing way when it comes to makeup for me. Here are the products I tested out this week that I’m into so far.

The Revlon Colorstay Makeup for Normal/Dry Skin SPF 15, $12.99, worked so much better on my skin than I anticipated. I wear the shade Cappuccino for reference, and find that it’s pretty much a perfect match for me. It feels super lightweight on the skin to the point where I forgot that I was even wearing foundation. It gives medium coverage and controls oils without making the skin look too dry or like you’re wearing a mask. I’ll have my full review up next week for you guys.

The Milani Retouch + Erase Lightlifting Concealer, $7.97, was definitely a YouTube Made Me Buy It purchase. I’d heard so many great things about it that I had to snatch it up when my Walmart finally had a shade that would work for me. I use the shade Honey for reference. So far, so great with me and this concealer. It covers up my dark circles without drying out my under eye or creasing really badly throughout the day.

The Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lip Color in Wild Berry, $7.00, is one of the best drugstore traditional lipsticks I’ve tried in a long time. It’s matte without being too drying, and lasts HELLA LONG on the lips. My only issue with it is that it stained my lips terribly, which isn’t a deal breaker for me personally. I definitely plan on picking up more of these next time I’m at Walmart.

I’ve already posted my review on the Urban Decay Troublemaker palette, so I’m not going to go on and on about this for too long. Just know that I highly recommend this to you guys. Period, point blank.

Let me know in the comments below what your standout products were this week!

Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
