Get It or Forget It?: Kat Von D Metal Crush Single Eyeshadows

To_Buy_or_Not_to_Buy

Hey there, Beauties!! I’ve been using these shadows for a while, and am finally ready to review them for you guys.

My good friend Georgia sent me four of the Kat Von D Metal Crush eyeshadow singles about a month or so ago, and I must admit that I was a little intimidated initially. They’re all colorful shadows, which you guys know isn’t typically my thing. However, I was determined to give them a try since Georgia was so kind to send them to me. You guys, these shadows just might have changed the game for me.

KatVonD- Metal Crush Collection

The Kat Von D Metal Crush eyeshadows, $21, are some of the most pigmented shadows I’ve ever used. They’re super soft and work well with a finger as well as a dry brush, which isn’t always the case with metallic shadows. The best part? I didn’t experience any fallout when I used them.

I have four of the shadows: Iggy (green), Paranoid (blue), Danzig (purple) and Done (orange). None of these are colors that I would typically go far, since I’m such a warm neutral kind of girl. But y’all, if you’re looking to step out of your comfort zone, these are the way to go. The color of the shadows is just as rich on the eye as it is in the pan. They blend out easily and last forever on the eye without fading. I typically have my makeup on for about 12 hours, and I found that my eyes looked just as good at the end of the day as they did upon initial application.

Here are the looks I did while testing these shadows:

You guys, these are definitely a GET IT worthy, Regular Girl Approved product. I plan to pick up more of the shadows during the next Sephora VIB Sale, since they are a little pricey for single shadows. They’re totally worth the investment either way though.

Have you guys tried the KVD Metal Crush shadows? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
