My Monthly Makeup Situation: January 2018

Hey there, Beauties!! It’s the beginning of the month, so it’s time to take a look at what products I will be using for the month of January.

I had to get a new acrylic organizer to set up my monthly makeup because my Caboodles just wasn’t holding everything. I also use a basket to hold my eyeshadow palettes, but it’s not shown in the images. I do my makeup at my dining room table every morning, hence the set up.

Now that that’s all out of the way, let’s get into it!

Let’s summarize the items in my Caboodles first. I tend to keep my small palettes, face powders, eyeliners, mascaras, concealers and foundations in here. I also put any overflow highlighters and stuff like that that didn’t fit into my acrylic organizer.

Anywho, a majority of the things in here are my usual products, like my Benefit brow pencils and Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer, but there are also a few new things in here that I plan on testing this month. I don’t want this post to be a million words long, so I won’t list every single item. If you guys want more details on what’s in here, just let me know and I’ll take care of that tomorrow.

In my  acrylic organizer, I have all of the lipsticks, blush, primers, and highlighters I plan to use over the course of this month. I always have more lippies than anything else when it comes to planning my monthly makeup, because I just love them so much. I’ve got some lippies from teh drugstore as well as some high end brands in there. For blush, I’m pulling in mostly blushes I’ve had forever but haven’t used, as well as a new NARS blush. As usual, my Becca highlighters will be what I’m using this month, as well as my Maybelline Master Chrome.

For eyeshadow palettes, I don’t have too many that I’m pulling into my monthly makeup situation. A majority of these are palettes that I’ve either used once or twice, or have had for a hot minute that I just haven’t gotten around to testing yet. The only ones that are brand new to me are the Urban Decay Troublemaker and the Too Faced Chocolate Gold palettes. In the pink Tarte magnetic palette, there are some single shadows that my friend Georgia sent me, as well as my depotted Colourpop Dream Street palette. I’ve already reviewed the Lorac MegaPro 4 palette, I believe, but haven’t used it since so I definitely want to give it some more love this month.
