In The Lab: Products I’m Testing This Week

Welcome back, Beauties!! With the holidays literally next week, I’m not testing out too many things since I’m still working through some stuff from last week. However, there are a couple of new things that I’ve added to my collection that I plan to work through this week to review for you guys.

I went to CVS this weekend literally just for some chips for my son, and walked out with two foundations from Neutrogena. I’ve never tried any base products from them, as I typically can’t find my shade at the drugstore or Ulta. so, when I saw that they had the Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup and Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint in a shade I could actually wear (Chestnut, for the record, which was the deepest shade they had at my local CVS). I don’t know much about either foundation yet, but am looking forward to giving them a go.

You guys know how much I love the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipsticks, so when I saw the display with the Infallible 8HR Pro Gloss, I had to grab a few, including the shade shown above, Coral Sands. I’ve always been a gloss girl, so I’m always looking for a new formula to try out. I’ll let you guys know in a review soon how they worked out.

I FINALLY bit the bullet and picked up the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder (I got the shade Deep for reference). This is definitely one of the most hyped products of 2017, so I’m looking forward to seeing if it’s worth the hype or not. I’m not a huge fan of loose powders, so it takes a lot for one to really impress me.

I had been seeing this palette at Ross for a few months and finally decided to pick it up since I’m on this whole color kick. The Cargo Emerald City palette came out earlier this year, so I figured I’d try it. I got mine for $9.99 at Ross, but if you don’t have a Ross near you, it’s on sale at Ulta right now for $23. Right off the bat, I wish there was a dark green matte shade instead of so many other shades, but I’ll still give it a try and let you know about the quality and such when I review it.

My friend Georgia sent me four of the Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow singles recently because she knew I’d never tried the formula before. How awesome is that?! I’m wearing the shade Paranoid (the blue one in the second row), and you guys, I think I’m in love. I’m going to keep testing these out and have a full review of the shades I have up for you guys soon.

Alrighty then, Beauties. Those are all of the products I’m currently testing. Let me know in the comments which ones you want to see dedicated reviews on.

Until next time! xoxo
