The Week In Review (12/11-12/15): Standout Products of the Week

Week-in-Review-13

Happy Friday, Beauties!! I wasn’t testing out too many new things this week, but I still had some products that I just couldn’t put down.

I didn’t get to test out the products I mentioned in Monday’s post to the extent that I wanted to for a couple of reasons. However, there are still a couple of things that I just couldn’t get enough of this week.

My good friend Georgia sent me the Lorac Pro 2 and, y’all, I’m disappointed in myself for waiting so long to get this palette in my hands. This palette is awesome. We all know that Lorac typically makes super powdery shadows, but these weren’t as bad as other Lorac palettes that I have. The shadows are super rich in pigment and blend like a dream. I created a bomb navy blue smoky eye yesterday with this palette. If you haven’t used this palette yet, I definitely recommend giving it a go.

I broke my Tarte Blush Bliss Blush Palette back out this week and immediately remembered why I love it so much. My most used shade is probably Genuine, the pinky peach shade, and that’s weird for me because I typically go for much deeper shades of blush. However, I find myself going straight for Genuine when I use this palette. It’s soft enough to not combat the eye look I’m wearing, and it’s pigmented enough to give me some color to my cheeks.

I have enough highlighters in my collection to wear a different one every day, so when I find one that I always go for over the rest, that’s how I know I love it. The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Topaz is EVERYTHING!! It’s more subtle than some of the other Becca highlighters that I have, so it’s perfect for work.

So, what products were superstars for you this week? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
