Hello and welcome back, Beauties!! I’m always testing new products, but rarely let you guys know what I’m testing. Here’s what I’m starting to test this week.
Testing out products is my favorite thing to do. I’m always looking for a new holy grail this or that. Here’s what I’m currently trying out to review and/or recommend for you guys.
I’ve had the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (shade 6C1 Rich Cocoa) in my collection for a while, but I’m just now getting around to testing it out. Today is the first day I’m wearing it, so I definitely don’t have any concrete thoughts on it yet, other than I like the way it’s feeling on my skin. It doesn’t feel heavy or anything like that.
The Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette was an item I went back and forth on for a minute before I finally pulled the trigger and picked it up. I’ve used it once and, you know, it’s metallic shadows. I can’t really say much about it just yet.
These have been talked about so much that I finally decided to check them out for myself. This is the Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Cola Pop. I’ve really been into blush lately, so I figured I’d give this one a go. I like the color of it a lot. I got Fig Pop as well, which is a little bit lighter.
I’ve been testing the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve really been enjoying it. It just might replace my philosophy Purity Gel Cleanser. I stress the word might. I haven’t been using it long enough to make such a bold statement just yet. I do know that I’ve been digging it so far, and I love that you can get it at the grocery store or drugstore.
As someone with traditionally oily skin, I have been hesitant to try the CoverFX Illuminating Setting Spray. Even though my skin has been a lot more dry recently (Lord only knows why *shrug*), I still wasn’t sure about it. But, since I got it in my November Boxycharm, I might as well give it a try. Some people I watch on The Tube that have oily skin said they enjoyed it, so we’ll see. Y’all know I don’t really use setting spray for real, but since I got it, I might as well use it, right?
I know I told you guys in my Holiday Anti-Haul that I wasn’t going to get the Tarte Magic Star Collector’s Set situation, and initially, I totally wasn’t. But see, what happened was, I was in Ulta on a shopping high and went to the Tarte section…..then I swatched the palette and took a good, long look at the packaging…..and that was the end of that. Next thing I know, I’m sitting on my bed looking at this palette with a goofy smile on my face smh. Don’t judge me, guys, okay? I changed my mind. It happens. Anyway, the point is that I have it now and have started testing it out. I’ve used it once so far, and can’t complain. I know I won’t use the lipstick that comes in the box because I just don’t like Tarte’s liquid lipstick formula. Everything else is fair game, and I’ll have a review up for you guys on this soon.
Okay, y’all. Those are the items that I’m testing this week. Let me know in the comments below what items you want to see dedicated reviews on.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
