Issa Ulta Haul!

ulta-beaty-1

Happy Monday, Beauties!! I went to Ulta over the weekend….again. I know, I know. Let’s take a look at what I got.

I posted this image on Instagram on Sunday, but wanted to share it here on the blog so I could give a little more details about the goodies I bought. As with most of my hauls, I will be doing a recap once I’ve tried everything out. You guys know how we do things around here. Let me know what items you want to see dedicated reviews on.

Okay so, let’s get into the repurchases first. I’ve told you guys before how much I love the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. They don’t always have them in stock in my store, so I always grab at least two of the smaller $15 tubs when I see them. Another repurchase for me, sorta, are the Buxom single eyeshadows you see above the palette we will be talking about shortly. I’ve purchased Buxom single shadows before, but don’t have these colors. Buxom eyeshadows are so slept on. If you haven’t tried them yet, I definitely suggest you go into an Ulta and at least swatch them. The pigmentation is great and they’re super blendable in my experience with them.

Moving on to the items I hauled that are new to me, let’s start with my cute af Caboodles. After watching one of my faves, Emily Noel, do a video around one, I had to get one for myself for nostalgic and functional reasons. I was able to scoop mine up for a whopping TEN DOLLARS!! I literally did a little dance when I saw the price at the register. Talk about a win!

As for other skincare, I picked up a new moisturizer from First Aid Beauty that I haven’t tried before, the Ultra Repair Cream. Since it’s getting to be cold and dry here where I live, I need a more hydrating moisturizer, so I figured I’d give this one a go. I also picked up the Superstars mini set from Origins, which came with two moisturizers and a mask for $20. Lastly, I picked up two serums that are also primers from IT Cosmetics. They’re the Feel The Moment Skin-Rejuvinating Hydrating Primer Serum and the No. 50 Serum Collagen Veil Anti-Aging Primer.

For my base makeup, I got a new primer from Peter Thomas Roth that I’ve been seeing floating around online called the Skin to Die For No-Filter Mattifying Primer & Complexion Perfector. Although my skin is more on the dry side lately, I still like to use a mattifying primer to keep things looking flawless in case my oils break through later on in the day. I also picked up the Urban Decay F105 Optical Blurring foundation brush. I’m really into applying my foundation with brushes, so I wanted to try it out. Urban Decay makes some really good brushes. The one I got is really densely packed, but is also super soft to the touch.

For the rest of my haul, I got two of the new Smashbox Metallic Matte Always On Liquid Lipsticks in So Jelly and Vino Noir and one of the Mally Beauty Classic Color lipsticks in Mulberry Maven. I’ve never tried Mally’s lip products, so I’m excited to try this one out. I also got the three pack of Mally eyeliners that another YouTuber I love, Robin’s Cup of Tea, talked about in a recent video. I also picked up the highly recommended IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara. Since I don’t typically wear false lashes, I’m always looking for a great mascara, and this is one that I’ve heard pretty good things about.

OMG I almost forgot the star of the show! I FINALLY, after much self-deliberation, picked up the Urban Decay Heavy Metal palette! The packaging is just gorgeous, although the whole sliding to get the palette out situation is a little annoying. I will definitely be reviewing this for you guys once I test it out for about a week or so.

That’s everything, Beauties. Let me know what items you guys want to see dedicated reviews on, and make sure you’re following me on my socials to see previews of what I’m testing and hauling before they get posted here on the blog! Just search ‘The Regular Girl Reviews’ on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr to connect with me.

Until next time! xoxo
