Happy Friday, Beauties!! Today, I’m going to review one of the most popular fragrances of the last decade, Viva La Juicy.
DISCLAIMER: This product was sent to me in PR, but this post is not sponsored in any way. My opinion on this product is based on my own thoughts and experience with the product.
Yesterday (November 9th) was the 10th Anniversary of the Viva La Juicy fragrance by Juicy Couture, so HSN (Home Shopping Network) launched a great deal on the limited edition set shown above. You can go on their website and purchase the 3.4oz size of the fragrance and 4.7oz Viva La Juicy Body Creme for $84 or 5 Flexpay payments of $16.80. If you purchase this set while it’s on sale, you’re going to be saving $36 off of the regular price of $120. The set is valued at $154.48, so either way you’re getting a great deal.
Aside from the bottle being super pretty, the fragrance itself is also really nice. According to the HSN website, this fragrance has the following notes:
- Top Notes: Wild berries and mandarin
- Mid Notes: Honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine
- Base Notes: Amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and praline
Vanilla is most definitely one of my favorite notes in any fragrance. I love the warmth and coziness of it. Viva La Juicy is definitely the type of fragrance I typically go for as someone that likes a warm, powerful perfume. I’m not into having to reapply my perfume a hundred times a day, so I like that this one has great lasting power. You have to be careful though with strong fragrances such as these, because using too much will be a bad look for sure. I just use once spritz on my wrist and tap it onto the other and one spritz on my chest. That’s all you really need.
The body creme is just as powerful as the perfume, so you want to be careful when using it. For example, if you’re going to wear the pair together, you won’t need much of the perfume because the lotion is pretty strongly scented, obviously. I only use it on my hands really, because I don’t want to knock anyone out with my perfumed loveliness.
So, do I think you should pick this perfume up? If you’re into strong, sultry scents, you should totally Get It. The vanilla and amber work well with the fruity notes of the fragrance to make it just sweet enough without making it seem like kids’ perfume.
Let me know if you’re planning to pick up this set for yourself or the Viva La Juicy lover in your life.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
