Hey there, beauties!! We’ve all fallen victim to the hard sell we get from YouTube and Instagram and purchased a high ticket item and found ourselves disappointed at one point or another. Let’s talk about that feeling, and remind ourselves that price doesn’t always equate to perfection.
I know that I don’t talk about inexpensive makeup very often here, but don’t ever mistake that to mean that I’m not a fan of inexpensive makeup, because I definitely am. However, I know plenty of people that exclusively use high end and luxury makeup, which can make it appear that you’re only going to get great products if you pay a lot of money. Well, my loves, I’m here to tell you that that is most definitely not the case.
When did it become uncool to not pay tons of money for anything? Is it not still cool to get a great deal on something great? There are lots of inexpensive brands on the market that are putting out amazing makeup and skincare.
Here’s a list of inexpensive brands that are definitely worthy of your time and coins.
Wet n’Wild: Over the past few years, Wet n’Wild has been putting out some truly amazing products. Their MegaGlo highlighters are some of the best highlighters that I’ve ever used, high end or otherwise. There are so many amazing products in their line that you’re definitely going to find quite a few things you’ll fall in love with.
Essence Cosmetics: I’ve tried a ton of mascaras, but I promise that Essence makes some of the best on the market without question. I’ve talked y’all to death about the Lash Princess mascara, so I won’t bore you with that again. Just know that I will probably never recommend a mascara more than that one.
Moda Brushes: These brushes are so consistently good. I’ve never tried a brush from them that didn’t work fabulously for me. They’re such high quality that the low price tag comes as a bit of a surprise when you start using them. You can find them at Walmart as well as purchase them from their website. I recently did a review on their new Moda Rose brushes that you can check out if you’re interested in learning more about that line.
BH Cosmetics: The eyeshadow palettes from BH Cosmetics are the item I’m most familiar with, and I’m into them. They have everything from the most neutral palette to ones full of bright color and shimmer. They also sell brushes, which are on my list to try.
e.l.f. Cosmetics: e.l.f. is constantly coming out with new stuff, which is always a good thing for an inexpensive brand. I’ve tried so many different things from e.l.f., but still feel like there is so much I’m not hip to yet. Their brushes are amazing, and I love their eyebrow pencil as well.
There are a ton of other brands that have quality products at low prices. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite inexpensive brands are.
Until next time! xoxo
