Now that we have all marked our calendars and have built up our carts in anticipation of this event, let’s get into what I recommend and what’s on my wishlist.
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium On-The-Go Gift Set You guys know that this is my go to fragrance. I LOVE this, and find that it smells fantastic on so many different people. The set at Sephora comes with a large bottle of Black Opium, a rollerball so you can throw it in your purse, and a shimmering moisturizer. The set is $120, so I definitely recommend buying this during the sale to save some money.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette This was one of the hottest palettes of the summer, and for good reason. Out of all of the Naked palettes, this one is most definitely my favorite. The formula is a bit drier than some shadows you may be used to, but they blend fabulously and are quite pigmented. If you didn’t buy this during the hyped up release this summer for $54, it’s definitely worth getting now for a discount.
Becca Apres Ski Glow Face Palette Seriously, you guys. I’ve talked about this face palette so much that you already knew it would be on my recommendations list. It’s just awesome. You get two blushes, a bronzer, a blush and three highlighters. They’re all pigmented AF and just amazing. It’s $54 regularly, so definitely pick it up while you can get it on sale. You won’t regret it.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance This palette is such a staple. If you haven’t picked one up yet since $42 isn’t chump change, I highly recommend you pick it up during the VIB Sale. The shadows are a little powdery, but not in an extreme manner, and they blend super nicely.
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads In the $30 tub, you get 60 pads. For me, spending $30 isn’t my preference, but these are totally worth it. They exfoliate your skin with lactic and glycolic acid to help brighten your skin. I’ve found them to be really effective, and definitely suggest giving them a try while you can get a discount.
Tarte Clay Play Palette If you missed it while it was on sale a couple weeks ago, I highly recommend you pick this palette up during the sale. It’s an all-matte palette with powders that can literally be used all over your face. The eyeshadows can be used on the brows, and the face powders can be used on the eyes. It’s totally worth the full price of $46, but a discount is always better.
Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask This mask is amazing if you have oily or acne-prone skin. This clay mask draws all of the gunk out of your pores and leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, all while minimizing the appearance of your pores. I love it, and even have convinced my 15 year old son that he needs it when he’s having a breakout.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream With 17 shades to choose from, this is perfect for those of you that aren’t into a bunch of coverage, but still want your skin to look even and refreshed. I’ve been using this for years, especially in the summer when I don’t like a bunch of product on my face.
Now that we’ve discussed my recommendations, let’s get into the things I have my eye on.
Sunday Riley Space Race Fight Acne, Oil and Pores at Warp Speed Kit I’ve heard so many people rave about Sunday Riley products that I’ve had a few things in my cart and wishlist for months now. Once I saw this kit, which basically has all of the items I’ve been wanting to try, I knew that if I only get one thing during the sale, it’s going to be this.
Tarte Limited Edition Artful Accessories Brush Set I’ve never tried any of Tarte’s brushes before, and have heard good things. This set is so pretty that I just have to have it.
Viseart Warm Neutral Mattes Palette Guys, these Viseart palettes are literally $80. EIGHTY. That’s the most I’ve ever spent on one makeup item in my entire life. I’ve almost purchased this palette in particular at least five times, but can never bring myself to do it. Maybe this time will be the charm lol.
Becca Light Chaser Highlighters Since I shop mostly at Ulta (It’s literally five minutes from my house), and these are a Sephora exclusive, I still haven’t picked up one of these highlighters for my Becca collection. I definitely plan to buy one during the sale this year.
I think that’s it for now, beauties. Let me know in the comments below what you’re planning on picking up during the VIB Sale and what your recommendations are.
Until next time! xoxo
