Well hello, beauties! In today’s walk down memory lane, we are going to revisit what was, most likely, the first skincare product a majority of us used. If you’re in my age group or older, you definitely remember that infamous blue container.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Noxzema is the smell. It has this menthol smell that fills the whole bathroom. I can remember my mom buying me this when I was in my late teens or early 20’s when my skin was at its most resistant, and it totally worked! I used Noxzema for years after that in various variations. If you recall, they not only have the original cream in the tub formula you see above. The have the face wash with the pump as well as the squeeze bottle. I’ve tried them all, and none gave me the same results that the tub formulation did.
You can still find Noxzema at Walmart and the drugstore, as well as Amazon, of course. I’m convinced that you could probably purchase an entirely new soul on Amazon, but I digress. The brand has been around for over 100 years, so they must be doing something right. My skin isn’t as problematic as it used to be, thankfully, but I definitely want to grab a smaller tub of this and give it another go.
Thanks for joining me on this trip to the past today, beauties. Let me know in the comments below if you ever used Noxzema growing up, or if you still do. What’s your throwback skincare item?
