Hello, beauties! The item I probably have the most of in my collection, other than maybe lip products, is makeup brushes. The main reason for this ridiculous amount of brushes is because, well, I hate washing them. Keep reading to see the collection in a bit more detail.
Oh, before I forget. The striped bag thing you see in the image above is actually meant to be a planner carrying case, but I use it to store all of my brushes. Here’s a pic and link to it. It’s awesome because, as you can see in the main pic for this post, there is one huge pocket that zips, as well as two smaller ones that you can detach from the case.
Anyway, back to the brushes. Here are my face brushes. I know, it’s a bit excessive, but like I said earlier, I am the WORST when it comes to washing my brushes, so I just keep getting more so that I don’t have to wash them as often. It’s a damn shame, I know. My favorite brushes are probably face powder brushes. The fluffiness of them makes me smile lol. I have brushes across the spectrum price wise, because I’m a firm believer that you don’t have to spend tons of money for quality brushes. My collection includes everything from Real Techniques to IT Cosmetics. Here’s the link to a post I did a few weeks ago about some of my favorites. One that I adore that isn’t included in that post is my Pur Cosmetics Skin-Perfecting Foundation Brush. It’s the round brush you see above on the right side with the black handle. That is most definitely my favorite foundation brush. It makes application super fast and it blends everything out beautifully.
These are my eye brushes, with a couple of concealer brushes thrown in there because of their size. For eyeshadow, I’d say that blending brushes are my favorite and what I have the most of in my brush collection. If I had to choose one eyeshadow brush line to use forever, it would likely be from Real Techniques. There’s just something about their brushes that I just vibe with. As for beauty sponges, I’m not that into them. I mean, I’ll use them, but I’m definitely more of a brush girl. The beauty sponges you see above are all from the drugstore. The orange one is by Real Techniques, the green one is from Ecotools, and the two baby sponges are meant for blending out concealer and are from Ulta. I must confess. I legit have only used that lash curler you see in the photo one time. Like, literally once. I just can’t get into them.
Alright beauties, that’s about it for my brush collection. If you have any questions about any brushes, please feel free to leave me a comment here or on Instagram (@theregulargirlreviews). You can tweet me as well (@theregulargirl1) if you have questions or recommendations.
