Typically in My Favorite Things, we discuss a category of products across different brands. Today, I’m going to focus on my holy grail eyebrow pencils, and they’re all from Benefit Cosmetics. Keep reading to see why they’re my everything.

Benefit Cosmetics makes some of the best eyebrow products on the market, hands down. As you can see in the image above, their brow line is quite extensive, ranging from pencils to powders to bow gel. If you need it, they’ve got it. For me, my faves are their pencils. They aren’t too dry or too waxy, and give me exactly what I need if I’m doing a more natural brow, or want to go a little bit more bold. Here are my faves:

Precisely, My Brow Eye Pencil, $24

This eyebrow pencil is pretty much everything. The point is super, well, precise, so it allows you to create those hair-like strokes so your brows look more natural. I don’t find that it pulls my brow hairs out like some others I’ve used, and the formula is that perfect balance I referenced earlier. The six shades it comes in make it able to suit pretty much every natural hair color out there. The color isn’t too warm or too cool, which I also like. Other brow pencils on the darker side (I wear 5 or 6 in the Benefit ones) tend to pull more warm, so my brows end up looking a little bit lighter than I prefer.

Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil, $24

The Goof Proof pencil is my daily brow pencil because it fills in m brows quickly. I can use this and spend literally five minutes on my brows in the morning. Just like the Precisely, My Brow, the formula is just right. The triangulated tip can deter people sometimes, but it’s just as easy to use as a thinner pencil. You can turn the pencil in your hands at different angles to get those hair-like strokes, or just swipe it across the brow for quick but concise coverage.

As a whole, I definitely recommend the Benefit brow pencils more than any others I’ve tried or own. I’m sure there are dupes out there for these, and probably have one or two in my collection, but I’ve developed a serious committed relationship to these, and we haven’t had a bad date yet.
