Liquid lipsticks are really hit or miss for me as someone with notoriously dry lips. However, if I moisturize well prior to applying, they usually give me little to no problems. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case for me with the Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipsticks. I’ve tried these numerous times in numerous ways, but I just can’t get them to look good on me.

The formula of the Urban Decay Liquid Lipsticks is decent, I suppose. They go on fairly smooth. However, it’s been my experience that they aren’t super opaque with the first swipe like most liquid lipsticks are. That’s not a problem really, until you try to add that next layer of color. That’s when things can get a little dicey. For me, my natural lip discoloration still came through after two layers of product, and my lips immediately felt dry. Like, super duper dry.

When I tried to put a lip gloss on top of the lipstick as I typically do with super dry liquid lipsticks, that’s when things got REALLY bad. The lipstick didn’t take to the gloss at all. Instead, the lipstick started crumbling and peeling and just feeling worse than it did before I applied the gloss.

All in all, I’d have to say that, based on my experiences while testing this product, you should forget it when it comes to the Urban Decay Liquid Lipsticks. I just can’t get with them at all.

Tell me what your experience has been like with the Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipsticks. Did you love them? If so, how did you get them to work well for you?
