This week’s Brand of the Week is Bare Minerals, one of my longtime favorite brands.

Bare Minerals has been one of my go-to brands for a couple years now when it comes to complexion products. As someone that has semi-sensitive skin, I’m always here for products that can even out my complexion without feeling heavy or irritating my skin.

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, $30. Comes in 16 shades. Image via ulta.com

As someone that doesn’t wear liquid foundation too often (for whatever reason, certain formulas of liquid foundation make my face itchy), when I find a liquid complexion product I like, I stick with it. The Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is a tinted moisturizer, but offers a light to medium amount of coverage without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. Since I’m an oily girl, I do have to powder my face when I use it, but a mattifying primer helps as well. And, since it has sunscreen in it, I get the protection from the sun that I need without having to add an additional product to my routine.

This powder right here though?! Without question, this is my holy grail finishing powder hands down. I’ve already gone through two full compacts of this. If that doesn’t tell you how much I love it, nothing else will. The powder is super soft, and adds that last little bit of balance to your skin after applying your foundation. What I really love about it is that, even on days where I just wear a primer to mattify my skin, I can put this on and my skin will look even and smooth. It doesn’t make my face look super powdery or cakey either, so it’s basically everything I need.

BareMinerals Gen Nude Buttercream Lipgloss, $18. Comes in 15 shades. Image via ulta.com

These lip glosses are some of the best I’ve used. The pigmentation is just right. They aren’t as intensley pigmented as lipsticks, but not without any pigment at all like some lip glosses tend to be. They give you that your lips but better look, and are super comfortable on the lips. They last fairly long, but will definitely have to be reapplied as most lip glosses do. The best part? They smell like buttercream frosting!!

If you’ve never tried BareMinerals, I highly recommend you give them a try. They have such a huge range of products, with everything from primers to foundation and skincare, you’re bound to find something you love.
